Postponed – Laconia World Championship Sled Dog Derby

The Lakes Region Sled Dog Club announced yesterday that they are postponing their 84th Laconia World Championship Sled Dog Derby. The new dates for the derby are February 22, 23, 24, 2013.

2013 New Hampshire Sanctioned Snow Sculpting at Black Mountain

The annual New Hampshire Sanctioned Snow Sculpting competition comes again to Black Mountain on January 25 through 27, 2013. This contest attracts both amateur and professional sculptors. The winning team receives a trophy and an invitation to compete in the 2014 United States National Snow Sculpting Competition at Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
