Art lovers may want to mark their calendars for the weekend before Thanksgiving (November 22, 23, & 24, 2013). That is when the Paradise City Arts Festival takes up residence at the Royal Plaza Trade Center on Boston Post Road in Marlborough, MA.
Not familiar with the Paradise City Arts Festivals? Founded in 1995, Paradise City brings together hundreds of fine artisans and craftsman to present four shows a year – two in the spring in Marlborough and Northampton, and two in the fall in Northampton and Marlborough. The next and final show for 2013 is the Marlborough show coming up November 22, 23, & 24, 2013.
The Marlborough Paradise City Arts Festival brings together 175 competitively juried artists and craft designers from dozens of states and Canada who will be showing their works in three broad categories:
- Furniture and home furnishings
- Fine art and sculpture
- Fashion and jewelry
In addition to all of the wonderful fine arts and crafts, the show will have live Jazz, Swing, and Motown in a sunlit sculpture cafe. The cafe will feature a special exhibition, “Hocus-Pocus”, an exhibition that celebrates all that is “mystical, magical, mysterious, and make-believe”.
This is a wonderful creative kickoff to the holiday season that you will not want to miss.
