It’s time to whet our appetites for the popular Winter Restaurant Week Boston. Restaurant Week Boston is held twice a year in the winter and the summer. The winter edition is coming up for two weeks, March 17 to 22, 2013 and March 24 to 29, 2013. Bostonians and visitors have the opportunity to enjoy prix-fixe menus at more than 200 of the Boston areas top restaurants – all at very affordable prices!
Dining Packages
During Restaurant Week, all participating restaurants serve three-course prix-fixe meals which include an appetizer, entree, and dessert. Diners can opt for any of the following packages:
- Two-course lunch: $15.13
- Three-course lunch: $20.13
- Three-course dinner: $38.13
All prices are per person and exclude beverages, tax, and gratuities. No tickets, passes, or coupons are required; all diners need to do is visit their restaurant of choice from the participating restaurant list. Reservations, however, are strongly encouraged.
Charity and Giving
With each Restaurant Week Boston, a local charity is chosen as the event’s charitable partner. This year’s partner is First Night, Inc. – a Boston organization “dedicated to building community and celebrating diversity through the arts.” Also, in honor of the event, the Greater Boston Convention & Visitors Bureau and American Express will each donate $5,000 to First Night, Inc., and all participating restaurants will each donate a $100 gift certificate which will be auctioned off at RWBauction.com. Proceeds from the auction will go directly to First Night, Inc.
