It started as a reaction to a Boston Globe article about the 10 Best Beer Bars in Boston. We decided to look at wine bars and then decided to expand it to all of Massachusetts (see “Massachusetts Wine Bars, Wine Cafes, and Enotecas“). We now realize that that is not good enough, there are, after all, five other states in New England. So we have decided to expand this into a series about wine bars and enotecas throughout New England.
