Staying in an air show theme, the 100th Anniversary of Marine Aviation event will take place this week on August 3 and 4, 2012 as part of the Marblehead Maritime Festival. Events include:
- Marine helicopters on display including a Huey, CH-46, CH-53, a Cobra attack helicopter, and a UH-34
- Flyovers by an F4U Corsair
- Flyovers by the “Trojan Horsemen” flying four T-28 post World War II trainers
- A parade lead by a Marine Color Guard at 10:30 AM on Saturday
