This coming weekend Copley Square in Boston will play host to the three-day Boston Globe / WGBH Summer Arts Weekend. The festivities kick-off on Friday July 27, 2012 at 7:00 PM and run through Sunday, July 29, 2012.
Summer Arts Weekend is a free event that brings a variety of arts (music, theater, dance…) to three stages in Copley Square:
- Outdoors at the Main Stage
- Outdoors at the Fountain Stage
- Indoors at the Copley Club, Fairmont Copley Plaza, Oval Room (these events are ticketed – not free)
Food will be available from select vendors in Copley Square. In addition, you may bring your own food, but cooking and alcoholic beverages are not permitted. Be sure to check out the event’s FAQ for more information.
