Always a great summertime activity, air shows are fun for the whole family. Summer 2012 will not disappoint aviation fans with four major air shows taking place in New England. Coming to the region this summer are the USAF Thunderbirds, the US Navy Blue Angels, the US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet Demonstration Team and much more. Here are New England’s 2012 air shows in date order:
- June 16 – 17, 2012: Rhode Island National Guard Open House and Air Show, North Kingstown, RI – USAF Thunderbirds and more
- June 30 – July 1, 2012: Boston – Portsmouth Air Show, Portsmouth International Airport at Pease, NH – U.S. Navy Blue Angels and more
- August 4 – 5, 2012: Great New England Air Show, Westover, MA – US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet Demonstration Team and more
- August 24 – 26, 2011: Great State of Maine Air Show, Brunswick, ME – USAF Thunderbirds, US Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet Demonstration Team and more
