This caught our eye and we thought we would share it. For those of you who like traveling by motorhome, Tony Capasso’s account of his epic Journey along US Route 1 is worth a read. Of course we realize that Route 1 goes from Maine to Florida. We thought that New England fans might find the first five chapters (ME, NH, MA, RI, and CT) interesting.
Tony’s journey started in Fort Kent Maine, the northern terminus of Route 1 as well as the Northern Forest Canoe Trail. As many of you may be aware, Fort Kent is also home to the annual Can-Am Crown Sled Dog Race. But this book is really the story of the of the people and the communities along Route 1.
