Sports fishermen take note, the annual Martha’s Vineyard Striped Bass & Bluefish Derby will kick off this Sunday, September 11, 2011 and will run through October 15, 2011. This has been an annual event since 1946 making 2011 the 66th annual edition of “the Derby”. Fishermen come to fish for Striped Bass, Bluefish, Bonito and False Albacore in three categories:
- All Tackle Division
- Junior All Tackle Division
- Fly Rod Division
