Happy Birthday Cape Cod National Seashore

Today marks the 50th anniversary of the day that President Kennedy’s signed the legislation creating the Cape Cod National Seashore back in 1961. Part of the National Park Service, the Cape Cod National Seashore was created to “preserve the natural and historic values of a portion of Cape Cod for the inspiration and enjoyment of people all over the United States.”
