Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival

Music Festivals

Aston Magna Music Festival

Founded in 1972, the Aston Magna Music Festival is an annual summer music festival devoted to performances on period instruments and historically accurate reproductions. They aim to present the music as the comoposer originally imagined it.

The festival runs through June into early July. Performances in the Berkshires take place at either the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center or the Daniel Arts Center at Bard College at Simon’s Rock, both in Great Barrington, MA.

Pittsfield CityJazz Festival

The Pittsfield CityJazz Festival presents mainstream and traditional jazz in downtown Pittsfield, MA. The festival is held in October. The Pittsfield CityJazz Festival is presented by Berkshires Jazz who present jazz performances throughout the year in the Berkshires region.


Sevenars Music Festival

Established in 1968, the Sevenars Music Festival is one of the best small music festivals in the United States (according to Time Magazine).

The Guthrie Center
