- Ashumet Holly Wildlife Sanctuary, Falmouth – Self guided nature walks.
- Bank Street Bogs Nature Preserve (PDF), Harwich
- Bell’s Neck Conservation Land (PDF), Harwich – 2.75 mile trail.
- Bridge Creek Conservation Area (PDF) 2.5 miles of easy walking trails
- Callery-Darling Conservation Area (PDF), Yarmouth Port
- Cape Cod Museum Of Natural History, Brewster
- Cape Cod National Seashore Trails (PDF)
- Cape Cod Rail Trail, Dennis/Wellfleet – 22 miles through the towns of Dennis, Harwich, Brewster, Orleans, Eastham and Wellfleet. Used for biking, hiking, and roller-blading.
- Crocker Neck Conservation Area (PDF), Barnstable – 1.5 miles of walking trails.
- Coy’s Brook Woodlands (PDF), Harwich – less than a mile.
- D. Isabel Smith Monomoy River Conservation Lands (PDF), Harwich – 1.25 mile trail.
- Hathaways Pond Conservation Area (PDF), Barnstable – mixed use hiking and mountain biking.
- Historical Society of Old Yarmouth Trails, Yarmouth
- Indian Lands Conservation Area, Dennis
- The Knob, Falmouth – 12 acres or bird watching, strolling, beach combing, and swimming.
- Long Pond Conservation Area (PDF), Barnstable – 2 miles of walking trails.
- Mashpee River Reservation, Mashpee – two miles of trails and links to other adjacent trails.
- Nickerson State Park (PDF), Brewster
- Old Jail Lane Conservation Area (PDF), Barnstable – mixed use hiking and mountain biking.
- Otis Atwood Conservation Area (PDF), Barnstable – mixed use hiking and mountain biking.
- Sandy Neck Nature Trail (PDF) – Barnstable – 1.6 mile trail loop.
- Shawme-Crowell State Forest, Sandwich – 15 miles of roads and trails for hiking and equestrian access.
- Thompson’s Field Conservation Area (PDF) Harwich – 2.75 mile trail
- Waquoit Bay National Estuarine, Falmouth
- West Barnstable Conservation Area (PDF), Barnstable
