Volleyball Hall of Fame – Holyoke, Massachusetts

Volleyball was invented in 1895 by William G. Morgan at the Holyoke YMCA in Holyoke, Massachusetts. It is only fitting that the Hall of Fame for volleyball also be located in Holyoke.

The Holyoke Volleyball Hall of Fame, Inc. was established in 1978. In 1985 volleyball inventor William G. Morgan became the first inductee into the Volleyball Hall of Fame. The Volleyball Hall of Fame at its current location at 444 Dwight St. in Holyoke opened to the public on June 6, 1987. In 2010 the 100th individual was inducted into the Hall.

The Volleyball Hall of fame is open Thursday through Sunday from Noon to 4:30 PM.
