Bromley Mountain is a family friendly ski resort in Peru, Vermont. The resort is within reasonable driving distance of Boston, Albany and Hartford. In 2007, the resort received rave reviews from Ski Magazine for its relaxing atmosphere.
Visitors can spend their days enjoying 46 trails and 4 terrain parks. Guests can take a break from the slopes and warm up in the facility’s state of the art lodge. If visitors are staying at the resort for several days and would like to take a break from skiing there are many activities such as sleigh rides, outlet shopping and dog sledding available just down the road from Bromley.
Bromley is a great place to spend a day on the slopes or to take a week long family vacation.
Rentals
Guests can rent skiing and snowboarding equipment in the Bromley base lodge. Both adult and junior’s sized equipment is available. Rentals are available at a set price for one day use, with a lower price for each additional day. Bromley also has its own retail store for people interested in purchasing equipment. The store carries top brands including Burton, Atomic and Arbor.
Lessons
A friendly and well trained staff that includes four of the country’s top ski instructors conduct lessons at Bromley. Adult lessons for beginners take place once a day where new skiers learn the basics so that they feel comfortable on the slopes. Group lessons for semi-experienced skiers are also offered once each day. Private lessons for advanced skiers can be booked by making a reservation over the telephone. Skiing programs for children are also available. Kids will be placed in groups based on age. Parents should call In advance to make a reservation.
Racing
One of the stops of the Mountain Dew Vertical Challenge takes place at Bromley every March. Guests can participate in the race or just enjoy watching the festivities. Interested racers should contact the resort directly for rules and regulations.
Lift Tickets
Lift tickets can be purchased in full day, half day or two day increments. Adult, senior/teen and junior pricing applies to lift tickets. Three day or longer lift tickets are available for people staying at the resort for a longer vacation. Local residents can save money by buying a season pass which is good for unlimited visits throughout the ski season.
Amenities
Guests can rent condos onsite at Bromley so they will always be just a few steps away from the slopes. The condos each have a kitchen, fireplace and plenty of other amenities. Guests should call the resort to get a quote or to book a condo rental. If guests would like to stay offsite near by the mountain, Bromley has packages in conjunction with several local hotels including the Wiley Inn and the White Pine Lodge.
