Famous as a downhill ski destination, the Waterville Valley Resort also has one of the most popular Nordic ski centers in the United States. Waterville’s 75 kilometers of trails offer breathtaking views of the White Mountain National Forest. 40 kilometers of the trails are groomed and are tracked for both skate and classic Nordic skiing.
The Nordic center also offers guided snowshoe hikes and tours.
Rentals
Waterville’s Nordic center rents classic and skate skis as well as snowshoes and Pulk (child trailer sled) rentals. All rentals are priced for adults or youth (6-13)/seniors (65+).
Trail Passes
Trail passes, also available for adults or youth (6-13)/seniors (65+). They are available for afternoons (12:30-4 PM), a day, or multiple days. Various season passes are also available.
Lessons
The Nordic Center offers private, semi private, and group lessons from PSIA instructors for all ages.
Amenities
The Nordic Center has a lodge with a warm fire. In addition, there is also a trailside warming hut.
Located in the heart of an alpine village, the Nordic Center is close to shops, restaurants, entertainment, sleigh rides, ice-skating and more.
