The Amelia Park Children’s Museum, conveniently located in neighboring Westfield, is less than 10 miles outside of Springfield, Massachusetts. Amelia Park offers children a hands-on learning environment consisting of exhibits allowing children and parents to make new discoveries together. Numerous engaging activities entice children to “experiment, create, and play” while they learn.
Formerly the Discover Westfield Children’s Museum, the newly renamed Amelia Park Children’s Museum moved to its larger facility on South Broad Street in Westfield to accommodate a growing number of visitors and provide them with a greater number of exhibits and events. Children ages 2-12, accompanied by supervising adults, can enjoy exhibits, attend events, and even book parties.
Strategically designed exhibits allow children to explore and learn about such wonders as space, nature, and a wellness center. Intriguing key events include the Penguin Plunge, Painting for Fun, and Yoga for Kids. Children can enjoy memorable birthday parties at the Amelia Park Children’s Museum, complete with face painting and all-day admission to the exhibits and activities.
One thing is for certain – a day at the Amelia Park Children’s Museum is a day to remember!
